Now, I am using photography’s deceptive "realness" to create a new type of image in 360 degrees. When dreaming you believe you are experiencing some kind of otherworldy scene. You believe your eyes because the optics check out, even if it’s just for a moment.įor the longest time I have wanted to make an image that would immerse the viewer in a new way. ![]() Pano2VR by Garden Gnome Software is commercial software for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. I wanted it to be immersive, that no matter where you look- you are there, standing in the scene, you can move your mouse to look at any detail and really explore the environment. ![]() It allows to publish panoramic images and virtual tours with HTML5, Flash and QTVR. Pano2VR allows you to publish virtual tours and interactive 360 panoramas within minutes, improve your images, add interactive elements like hotspots, directional sound and video to your panoramas, use the powerful skin editor, seamlessly change projections, guide viewers by creating an animation path through your. We are so used to 2D imagery, that working with this new groundbreaking and exciting VR tool gives us the opportunity to actively participate in a new type of art experience. Since I’ve been using this this software package professionally for many years, with its recent 3D spherical tools (I will cover this in a later guide), and its handshaking with Pano2VR, I highly recommend this. Though the image is done, I find myself every so often wanting to go back and “hang out” in that magical room, having a nighttime jellyfish story come to life for me as it did when I was a child. You can use any photo editing software for most of your edits, but Pano2VR patching tool works only with Photoshop. I am excited to use this new type of immersive enviroment to create fine art and commercial applications.
